<What’s updated in RICOH CloudStream version 2.34.0>
※The public beta feature can be utilized by customers in one or more datacenters prior to official production release.
◆DM component(v1.10.0)
<Device Specific Preferences>
Device Specific Preferences is added as a new Device Configuration Template.
Allows device-specific settings to be retrieved from a device or imported from an encrypted file and reused as templates. DSP templates can be applied through Configuration Tasks.

Notes
DSP Templates are backups that do not allow the editing of individual device settings. Templates are only used to clone the selected device/file.
DSP Templates can only be distributed to devices that match the following conditions
For Ricoh devices
- Same model
- Same region (distribution)
- Same options
For Brother devices
Brother devices do not have differences in configuration items between models, so configuration items of all models are considered compatible except for any unsupported items on the target device (i.e. fax, scan)
Benefits for Ricoh devices
Supports almost all device settings (excluding sensitive data such as passwords)
Enables full export/import, including SOP panel app layout and configuration
Comparison between Device Configuration Templates
SDP: Can be applied regardless of device model but supports only a limited number of configurable settings.
XDP: Can only be applied to the same device model but supports all settings that can be retrieved from the device.
DSP: Supports a wide range of configurable settings including SOP-related settings but templates cannot be edited and reused.

<Device configuration support for Brother devices>
- CloudStream now supports the following device configurations of Brother devices.
- Device Configuration via Extended Device Preferences *Only changing admin PW is available
- Device Configuration via Device Specific Preferences
- Device Reboot
- Firmware installation and update
- This functionality performs through the gateway server for On-premise Device monitoring which already has supported for Brother device discovery.
- The initial version of this functionality will only support Configuration Tasks and will not support Configuration Policies.

Bug fix
– Several bug fixes have been implemented.
Print Scan UI
+ PC Client auto-update allows a delayed update cycle
It now offers two modes of operation:
- Latest (default) — PC Clients update to the latest stable release, published alongside each server release. Updates are rolled out gradually and monitored.
- Previous – PC Clients stay one release behind the latest and still update automatically with each new release. Switching from Latest downgrades all clients already running the latest release. Choose Latest to keep clients on the same version as the server.
– Add New service button respects permissions
Users without the permission to create a document output service no longer see a functional Add New button in the printer edit screen.
– Public API validates user details
The public API endpoint for updating users accepted invalid values (for example a non-numeric user validity), which could break the automatic removal of expired guest users for the whole environment. The input is now validated and the issue can no longer occur.
– License usage no longer counts deactivated printers
The periodic license recalculation incorrectly included deactivated printers, which could push an account into a false license-exceeded state. Deactivated printers are now excluded from the counts.
Secondary Gateway
No Updates.
PC Client
x More resilient login token refresh
The client token refresh logic now better tolerates short server or network outages, reducing unwanted logouts.
– Configuration profile is applied correctly on macOS
The configuration profile downloaded from the server was not reflected in the system print dialogs on macOS. Print settings defined in the configuration profile are now applied correctly.
– User stays logged in after installation and automatic update on macOS
After an automatic update, or shortly after installation in managed deployments, the client re-registered the endpoint and invalidated the user session, so users were unexpectedly logged out. The session is now preserved.
– Erroneous message at computer shutdown on Windows
Users no longer receive an error message from the client every time the computer shuts down.
– Connection to a secondary gateway with self-signed certificates
The client on Windows failed to connect to secondary gateways that use self-signed certificates. Gateway connectivity now uses native certificate validation, restoring support for these environments.
– Hotfix added later:
update to 2026.06.11 caused the PC client sync to change the default printer. This is no longer happening.
Unattended installation on Mac PC client is now correctly recognized as a fresh installation.
