<What’s updated in RICOH CloudStream version 2.33.0>
※The public beta feature can be utilized by customers in one or more datacenters prior to official production release.
◆DM component(v1.9.0)

<@Remote support>
@Remote is now supported in CloudStream DM. Customers on the cloud environment can now use @Remote services — Auto Meter Reading, Auto Toner Delivery, Auto Service Call, Fleet Reporting and Remote Configuration — previously available only with on-premise products (Streamline NX/@Remote Connector NX) or per-device setup . A new “@Remote Settings” tab is added to the DM Web UI, and devices are registered in batch from the Web UI.
What’s Changed
– A new “@Remote Settings” tab is added to the DM Web UI; devices are registered in batch from the Web UI (no one-by-one setup from each MFP panel).
– @Remote runs through a @Remote appliance (Virtual DS). Each appliance supports up to 5,000 devices and up to 20 appliances can be created per tenant. At least one device must be linked to an appliance.
– License: the @Remote feature is enabled by activating the DM license. A registered device becomes a “Managed device”.

◆Print Scan component(v2026.05.28)
<Legacy port consolidation>
This updates the previously communicated with a July 1, 2026 date. The scope and timing have changed and details below supersede the earlier notice.
Most customers are already unaffected; the durable safeguard, as always, is to keep your components on the latest version.
What is changing:
We are consolidating all Ricoh CloudStream communication onto port 443 (HTTPS / WebSockets, TLS 1.2 or newer), in two steps:
・Port 2560 — by mid-September 2026.
We are retiring the legacy communication channel on port 2560. Unlike the rest of our communication, this channel cannot be managed, monitored, or updated on a per-customer basis, which is why it is being removed first.
This affects only customers running PC clients or Gateways older than version 2024.09 (3.47).
・All remaining legacy ports — by end of January 2027.
Port 443 has been the default requirement and setting for over two years, so the large majority of connections already use only 443.
Some older components — certain terminals, clients, mobile apps, and other legacy elements — may still connect over legacy ports. Those ports will be closed by end of January 2027.
Reducing the number of open ports also simplifies configuration and lowers the platform’s exposure surface.
What you need to do:
・If you run PC clients or Gateways older than 2024.09 (3.47) — for port 2560, by September 2026:
Upgrade them to 2024.09 (3.47) or later, and make sure you are not actively blocking outbound port 443 (TLS 1.2+) to your Ricoh CloudStream domain — either directly on your firewall or on your web proxy, if one is in use.
Once port 2560 is retired, these components connect over port 443, and port 443 will be required for all connections regardless — so this is worth confirming now.
・All customers — for the January 2027 consolidation:
Keep your clients, terminals, mobile apps, and Gateways on the latest version — this is the most reliable way to ensure all communication uses port 443 — and confirm that outbound port 443 (TLS 1.2+) is not explicitly blocked, directly or via a proxy, for clients, Gateways, and MFPs.
Timeline:
・Mid-September 2026 — port 2560 retired, progressively, data center by data center, beginning with environments where almost no legacy clients remain.
・End of January 2027 — all remaining legacy ports closed; communication consolidated onto port 443.
No change to:
Local communication between clients and on-premises Gateways is unaffected.
<PC Client>
Client updates are now distributed through a gradual rollout model, releasing in phases to subsets of devices and validating stability before reaching all clients — replacing the previous fixed-delay approach

What’s Changed
・Updates are now rolled out progressively across devices rather than all at once after a configurable delay
・It is no longer possible to configure an update postponement (e.g., delay by X days)
・Support for staying on the current −1 version is planned for an upcoming release
<Admin>
Terminal management has been consolidated into a single, redesigned flow, replacing two separate legacy entry points with a unified tabbed experience.

What’s Changed
・The legacy “Manage terminals” dialog and the standalone “Find on my network” option have been removed
・Both auto-discovery and uninstall are now handled within the new tabbed “Add printer” and “Manage terminals” experience
<Canon Pure Cloud Terminal : Overview>
The Pure Cloud Terminal for Canon MEAP Devices enables organizations using supported Canon MFPs to access Ricoh CloudStream directly from the device panel; no gateway required.

What’s Changed
・The Pure Cloud Terminal replaces the legacy Canon terminal with a cloud-native architecture, removing the need for on-premises gateway infrastructure
・Users get the same familiar interface and release experience as before, while IT teams benefit from simpler deployment and management
・Key capabilities: user authentication, pull printing, data protection, and full print & scan workflows from a single embedded interface
・Adds Cloud Scanning workflows as compared to simple Scan to Email with the legacy terminal
・Note: not available in China or Japan due to licensing restrictions

◆Common feature for DM component & Print Scan component
No updates.
Release Notes for V2.33.0
+ Added feature
x Improved/changed feature
– Bug fixed
! Limitation
※The public beta feature can be utilized by customers in one or more datacenters prior to official production release.
+ @Remote support is now available in CloudStream DM. Cloud customers can use @Remote services (e.g., automated meter reading, automatic toner delivery) via a new @Remote Settings tab in the DM UI. Devices connect through a @Remote appliance :Virtual Delegation Server (up to 5,000 devices/VDS, up to 20 VDS/tenant); a device firmware update is required and the feature is enabled with the DM license.
+ The CloudStream PS embedded application can now be updated to version 3.0.11 from the DM UI.
– Fixed an intermittent “1004: Server error processing request” on LDAP Authentication Profile Test Connection under sustained load; authentication now recovers automatically.
Print Scan UI
x Removal of PC Client Auto-update delay
The auto-update delay setting has been removed. Client updates are now distributed using a gradual rollout model, where updates are released in phases to subsets of devices before reaching all clients.
Impact
- It is no longer possible to configure update postponement (e.g., delay by X days).
Customers requiring a more conservative update approach can use the“-1 version” mode:
Workaround
- Keeps clients on the previous (current-1) version continuously
- Provides a buffer against newly released versions
- Note: wording will be improved in the next version to better explain that by selecting this option all PC Clients remain on previous (current-1) version
x Streamlined terminal management
Terminal management has been consolidated into a single, redesigned flow. The legacy “Manage terminals” dialog and the separate “Find on my network” option have been removed in favor of the new tabbed “Add printer” and “Manage terminals” experience, which already covers auto-discovery and uninstall.
– Email to Print section on My Documents now has its own visibility permission
The list of Email to Print addresses on the My Documents page is no longer shown based on the download permissions (ViewPcClientDownload / ViewMobileAppDownload). Its visibility now follows the dedicated Email to Print permission, so the section appears only for users who are actually allowed to use that feature.
– Non-functional options removed from My Documents for Container domains
When an end user signed in through a Container-specific domain, the “Submit your documents” panel previously offered Email to Print, mobile/QR print, and PC Client options that do not work in that context. These elements are now hidden for Container domains to avoid confusion.
– Embedded configuration is preserved when creating output ports via the API
Creating or updating an output port with an embedded terminal configuration ID through the public API no longer saves the port without that configuration. The embedded configuration provided in the request is now reliably attached.
– Restore-default-API-key action is no longer available at vendor level
The button to recreate the default API key was incorrectly available on vendor accounts. It is no longer shown, as a default API key should never be re-created at that level.
– Corrected Danish translation on the Create account screen
A wrong Danish translation on the Create account screen has been fixed.
Secondary Gateway
No Updates.
PC Client
– SSO session preserved when switching between Citrix session hosts
In pooled Citrix environments with a roaming profile, switching between session hosts could cause the PC Client to interpret a different install ID as a changed installation, delete the session files, and log the user out. This no longer happens, so SSO is retained across session hosts.
– WebSocket reconnect no longer appears as being logged off
A race condition with a stale session cookie after a WebSocket reconnect could make active users appear logged off during printing. The session is now handled correctly on reconnect.
x PC Client logs now capture more diagnostic information
PC Client logging has been extended on both Windows and macOS — graceful start and stop of the client application and the client core service are now recorded, and session reuse messages provide more detail — making support investigations easier.
Authentication
No Updates.
Performance enhancements
No updates.
Printing
– ColorPrint restriction is now enforced for Direct print.
When a role has ColorPrint restricted, the restriction was applied to Secure (pull) print but silently ignored for Direct (push) print, so colour jobs still printed in colour. The restriction is now enforced for both Secure and Direct print.
Scanning
No updates.
Partner hosted and on-premises installations
No updates.
Ricoh Cloud Terminal (Gen2)
No updates.
Fujifilm BI Cloud Terminal (Gen2)
No updates.
HP Workpath Cloud Terminal (Gen2)
No updates.
Konica Minolta IWS Cloud Terminal (Gen2)
– Borderless print option now respected
The Konica Minolta IWS Gen 2 terminal now correctly honors the borderless print header, so jobs requesting borderless output are handled as expected.
Xerox Cloud Terminal (Gen2)
– Booklet printing folds the whole stack correctly
Booklet jobs on Xerox AltaLink devices with a finisher were folding each sheet separately instead of folding the whole stack as a book. Booklet folding now behaves as expected for both push and pull print.
– Scan Workflow email search keyboard hides automatically
During an email search in a Scan Workflow on the Xerox Cloud Terminal, the on-screen keyboard stayed visible after the search ran, hiding the results. The keyboard now disappears automatically so the results are immediately visible.
Sharp Cloud Terminal (Gen2)
No updates.
Brother Embedded Terminal
No updates.
Canon Embedded Terminal
+ Canon Cloud Terminal is now generally available
The Cloud Terminal for Canon multifunction devices is now generally available to all accounts. A default Canon embedded application type is available out of the box, so administrators can deploy the terminal directly from the terminal configuration — no special enablement is required.
Kyocera Embedded Terminal
No updates.
Lexmark Embedded Terminal
No updates.
API
No updates.
Chrome Extension
No updates.
Driver
No updates.
Internet ports
No updates.
Mobile app
